Is There Ethics In Politics?
The fourteenth Lok Sabha came to an end recently and its election time in India now. Its also the time when many people get to make money. No I am not talking about that today I would like to write about the mp’s whom we elected the last term.
Honorable speaker of lok sabha Somanth Chatarjee initiated a nation wide debate by questioning the dedication and sincerity of our MP’s. The Indian media as always was waiting on their toe’s to someone making controversial statements. The stats of our legislatures were flashed all over the media. That itself is enough to cause embarrassment to any Indian citizen. Initially we had 10 of our Mp’s being dismissed for taking money for raising question in the house!! DISGUSTING… then 5 other members were suspended because the money given to them for the welfare of people was used by them for their own interest!!!...One can guess only these 5 unlucky guys got caught up ,others didn’t… then there was hell lot of money being spilled all over the floor of the house in ‘money for vote scandal’ !! later the case was investigated and no one was held responsible!!(yes you are free to make your guesses)..
Members like Darmendra and our own mandya’s boy Ambreesh didn’t even attend a single session of the house! Don’t think one who has attented all of those is a noble person. U R Anthulle has 99% attendence! And he embarrassed the Indian government by saying the terrorist Kasav is from India! Not that this is a new found habit of our beloved leaders. They have history of indecent acts to their name. In Tamil Nadu Jayalalitha was molested in the house itself!! Havn’t we seen footwear’s and stones being hurled at the speaker. All these things happens because half of the people sitting there are criminals, so now its in your hand to send a better person to represent you and your constituency.
It cant get worse than this ,lets hope from next term they would stop behaving like animals and start thinking about the development of the country. Is it a too much of a ask from them??
