ADVERTISING IDIOTICITY

Let me begin by apologizing for posting such a obscene photo. But then I really wanted make a point, how on earth is this ad related to the marketing of puma??(carefully observe the thighs of that girl).I have been looking at this picture for about 10 minutes now, just to know what exactly they want to convey?,but I couldn't come up with a legitimate answer. There are ample number of ad's like this all over the media nowadays. So i thought of writing about it.

There were days when there used to be a single channel and people used to watch all the ads in between the program. But now when an ad appears on TV ,the first thing most of us do is to change the channel. Ad making isn't a piece of cake, its a highly creative media, only one who has hell lot creativity can survive in advertising industry. I adore most of the ad and am really jealous of their innovative idea's. But as in many industry here too you can find rotten apples. Some of the ad's which is on air is just hilarious. The most annoying ad for me is the fairness cream ad's, a girl with black paint on her face is just too low in confidence and no guy notices her, after she applies the cream for some days she turn WHITE and all the guys in the college fall latoo over her. Isn't it a clear case of racism? IT IS. These kind of ad shows coloured people in bad light. To add salt on injury all the big bollywood stars star in these ads. In one of those ad's a girl gets back home rejected and her father takes a look at her and says "I wish I had a BOY"!!!! that's really awful, next day the same girl applies the cream and joins a fashion institute and becomes a famous model. Its time that government should stop these unethical adds. Recently a magazine in America was sued because they changed the colour of pop singer beyonce in thier magazine cover. But here no one cares about it, so is our society a racist one? maybe.

Then there's another ad wherein a gorilla seduces a sexy women!! are you asking how? simple, the gorilla is wearing a particular company's undergarment! now you know the secret. isn't it easy? where are all those talks of equal rights for women? In these kind of ads women are shown as sex objects. Can any women sleep with a gorilla just because it wears a certain thing, just unbelievable. There's another perfume ad in which all sexy ladies in the town jump on to a guy and lick every part of his body. why? because his perfume has chocolate flavour! so why should I be left behind? Now that I know the secret I gave a go at it, I too put on that perfume and went for a walk, to my utter surprise not even a street dog noticed me! Although these adds are innovative they are just too over the bar. I would never wear a puma just because I would get a chance to bang a girl, and I am sure no one would buy a shoe for that purpose. With all due respect to women like Renuka Choudry and Nirmala Venkatesh, they should stop fighting over silly issue's like rama sene and should fight against these stuff's with united front.

The so called add guru's should stop taking people for granted, the consumers are more intelligent than ever and they won't believe that a obese patient would turn slim by using the belts or any crap stuff which they sell. The need of the hour is not the moral policing but the government should regulate the ad's , they should censor the a'sd just as they do to movies, before its too late to do so.

The content you have provided is pretty interesting and useful and I will surely take note of the point you have made in the blog.

While I was browsing the Internet for ways to boost my website exposure, I read about how effective offline media is for getting additional exposure. Since online media advertising has become so competitive, I thought I will complement the online marketing efforts of my products with offline media advertising like newspaper and magazine advertising. This can be the best way to get a wider coverage for a website and draw additional traffic. I think it is a great marketing strategy to use both online and offline advertising to get more customers.

I thought this information might be useful for anyone looking for solutions to get me-ore traffic to their website.
